Hi all,

I am still looking for the Disney Fantasy St John Trunk Bay Snorkel excursion's departure time from the ship AND return time to the ship.

We really want to go see St, John, but we also want to see either the Old synagogue on St Thomas or take the tram ride to the top of the mountain overlook. The Disney Cruise line says the excursion is 4 to 4.5 hours long. The ship docks at 6:45 am and it says we can disembark at 7:45 am. The ship leaves port at 4 pm. That is 8 hours in port with only 4 1/2 hours max for the excursion so our plans all depend on its departure and return time.

I am trying to find out what time we take the excursion to see if we have time before the excursion, or after it, to do the 1 or 2 other other things we want to do. SURELY someone out there reading this has taken a recent Disney Fantasy cruise ( and this excursion) who can tell me.???????? Pretty Please???
Thank You

We did that excursion in February - highly recommend! There were two departure times. We did the 8:15 (I think). By the time you get organized, on the boat, over to St. John and Trunk Bay...I think we had about 90 min there? Pretty sure we were back on the boat by 1pm? The way it works is the boat brings you over to St. John, goes back and gets the second excursion, brings them over and after they get off, you get back on. They bring you back to ship, go back and get the others. I think it was a 45 min ride? We all loved it.

Thank you, thank you thank you! I have been hoping we would have a little time to go up the tram in St. Thomas which I understand is close to the ship, or catch a taxi to go see its old synagogue. I understand it has sand floors and thought it would be interesting to see.
Did you get to see much of St John on the drive to the beach? Is there a chance to buy a t-shirt?
I cannot thank you enough for responding.

The crew of Island Girl were great - they gave an interesting narrated tour of the islands on the way over. Then we got into cabs and had a short scenic tour on the way to the beach - a couple of nice scenic overlooks including Caneel Bay. No one on our taxi wanted to stop really because we wanted time at the beach. That was it. They had things for sale at the beach but no other time to shop in St. John - probably could have gotten a tshirt at Trunk Bay if we had wanted to. Definitely time once you are back to do something short...we could see the tram from the ship. We just wanted to get back and enjoy the ship.
