Need ideas

I am arriving at WDW on 11/12. Flight gets to Orlando at 4:55. Taking MCO to A of A resort. I do not have a park ticket for This day. Depending on what time I arrive and how tired I am, I might want to do something. I will be solo. Maybe have a glass of wine somewhere?

IMHO, it depends on how amped up you are:

Go over to Jellyrolls or ESPN Club on the Boardwalk.
Go over to DTD for a movie at the new venue with waiters serving drinks/dinner.
Also, at DTD you could head over to Raglan Road.
Hee Haw Bob at PO/RS.
If a more laid back atmosphere is what you are after go over to the GF Lobby, listen to the muscians and have a drink.

If you are looking for something quiet to do you might want to stay away from DTD. I have heard that with the construction going on it can be a little crazy over there at night. I agree with the pp about the Boardwalk or the GF. Although transportation from resort to resort can be problematic. You could take the bus to the MK and ride the monorail around and visit the different resorts. A lot of people do the monorail pub "crawl" by having a drink at each monorail resort bar. It's fun and you would be right in the middle of Disney. Any how, have fun. I'm jealous.

Thanks so much for the ideas! I was thinking about going to the Poly and watching Wishes but I know it will be hard getting back after that! I like the GF idea!
I am a travel agent heading to Disney for an AEP trip but it does not start until Wed. at 5:00 so I have free time until then. Planning on going to MK on Wed.
I will have to see what time I get to A of A, etc. I am a mom of 3 and honestly, staying in the hotel room and enjoying the peace and quiet that first night will be a treat as well! LOL
