I hope someone here can help me with some input...I am somewhat crafty, not extremely crafty!

I will be surprising my kids with a cruise on the Dream at Christmas time. My idea is to possibly make a pillowcase with something disney dream like on it with our dates etc. I am thinking I will wrap it up and give it to them on Christmas Eve!

Does anyone know what fabrics/paints etc are best and where I could get some nice graphics? Thanks!

Hi Hon
I was just wondering if you could share a bit more info

boys? girls?
age?
Fav characters?
Regular cruise characters--Pirates?
Cruise date?

My kids will be 14 (girl) and 11 (boy), it will be their first cruise. They love Mickey, Pluto (the regular Mickey pals), pirates. They are seasoned WDW travellers and I think that they will love the cruise...I just really want to have it be a nice surprise! Thanks for replying!
Oh, and our Cruise Date is February 20, 2011 on the DREAM!

I'm sure others will chime in but I'll try a couple in the next few days for you.

Another question if you can help - the best way for me to do this is to print them up on iron on computer paper and transfer onto pillow case - right? Is there any best transfer paper or best fabric so it stays on? Thanks.:worship:

Hi Hon

Many people on this forum have found Amy's transfers the best.
I have used Avery transfer paper in the past but after a few washing it didn't hold up well/
I have only transferred on -t-shirts--so I'm thinking cotton is the best .

I also wanted to mention that I have a number of disney dream portholes in my photobucket that could be used for cabin doors and pillowcases.

here is a link to Amy's thread--I'm sure if you pm her for info she would be able to help
