Need ideas how to surprise the kids!

We are going to surprise the kids with our Disney trip. I will actually do this in 2 stages. The day before we leave, I will tell them about the parks, but not mention the cruise. On the day of the cruise, I want to tell the kids that we are going to go see the Atlantic Ocean and head over toward DCL. When we get there, I want to go somewhere, where we have a great view of the ship. Essentially I will say something like...Wow, there's the Disney ship, isn't she beautiful. Wouldn't that be fun? (kids have seen the DCL promo video and want to go) Wait for kids comments.... and then tell them that we have a surprise for them, that we are going on the ship. What I need help with is where to do it? Where would be a good place for this surprise? I was hoping a beach of somesort, Perhps where the 2palms cam is? But I would love any suggestions. Thanks!

How about this,

Tell them you are going to the ocean. When you are fairly close to the port give them all Disney Bandanas and have them cover their eyes, you can say that they are going to see the ocean from a very "special" place. When you get to the port and can see the ship up close have them take off the bandanas and the ship is the " special" place to see the ocean from ...

We surprised our kids 2 years ago, too. We told them we were going to the beach for vaca. We hurried them on the dis bus to Contemp. and just watched their faces when the info video came on. I never thought eyes could get so wide(DS, DD) or teary(mine!). Did 4 days at the parks then told them we were going somewhere else. Once again we were not disappointed by the reaction when we drove over the hill and into the view of the ships! Talk about MAGIC! My vaca. was complete right then and there!
Be sure to have a camera on their face when the secret is revealed. Priceless!
