Happy Sunday everyone! My partner & I are going to WDW for the 1st time ever without our 16 year old son. (He get's his birthday trip in December). We have been several times but it has always been kid oriented. I would love some grown up ideas for us. We have ADRs for Raglan Road, Chefs de France & Le Cellier so far. Any suggestions?

Thanks!!!!

we are going on an adult only trip in october - and we are going o book a segway tour in epcot, and early safari tour in ak, and the keys to the kingdom tour. we are also going to do circus. dinner choices: flying fish, le cellier, v&a, and two undecided. we also thought massages at the grand floridian. i say do anything romantic and that you always wanted to do in disney but didn't!

Y'all are going to get tired of me saying this: GO TO THE ADVENTURERS CLUB! So much fun! Such GOOD bartenders! It's AWEsome!

I recommend the Flying Fish too, it is fantastic. Although we tried having a nice adult dinner there last vacation. WE had the kids and gave them $50.00 for the arcade. That should last 60-90 minutes right? Nope , kids end up starting at the front of the restaurant and look into EVERY window of the place until they got to us , at the last table !!!! OH Gosh.

Anyways a nice place to eat , but also one of the things I like doing that we really cant do with kids is to grab a drink ( France , Canada , Mexico to name a few ) and sit and enjoy it in a nice relaxing fun to watch people place. The Grey Goose lemonade in France is terrific , wee get a drink and sit by the WS Lagoon watching people go by and just relax . With the kids it seems you just run around a little to much.

Parasailing with Sammy Duvall?

A Wishes or Illuminations Cruise? If you book the Grand, there is a bedroom... :upsidedow

The Spa at SSR has some lovely offerings... couples massage or other treatments?

Visit Ceviche at downtown Orlando? It's a GREAT tapas place.

For restaurants I would definitely recommend a nice evening at Flying Fish or Jiko inside AKL. Another decent option would be Artist Point at the WL followed by a nice stroll around the hotel.

Thanks everyone!! I'm loving those ideas--the one about the Grey Goose lemonade in France and people watching sounds super.

I've been wanting to try some of those restaurants that are suggested. Can't wait!!

Thanks again!!!

Spend some time in the pub in the United Kingdom. We stop next door first and get some fish and chips, grab a table in the pub (if we can, not many tables), order a couple of pints, listen to the piano player, make new friends.

The Segway tour is GREAT. We did it a few years ago. Truly a highlight!

Nice dinners is also a must. Jiko is a favorite.

Speaking of the English PUB , does the lovely older woman perform there all year ? I know at Gay Days I love spending some time ( ok , 3-4 hours) drinking and enjoying her and the piano.

We were in the pub in January on two nights, and both times there was an older gentleman singing and playing the piano. He dedicated a couple of songs to us. We didn't see a woman entertainer.

I've rented a private cruise during Illuminations for our upcoming trip in May. My DP has NEVER been to WDW - Can you believe that? Anyway, it's her birthday and I think she needs to spend it in a boat, with me and the Cap'n watching Illuminations.

FYI - The cruise is costing $250.00 w/out tip.

...on hindsight "me and the Cap'n" sounded a little naughty...I meant..it would be three of us...you know...er...oh bother!!!:dance3: :cheer2:
