Need ideas for Minnie Mouse/Tinker Bell party

Ok, my 2 girls are going to have their party together. We are doing Tinker Bell for the 4 yr old, and Minnie Mouse for the 2 yr old. We are going to have cookis and cup cakes. Trying to figure out how to do a cake. Any ideas on how to decorate the cake, and fort he party? Also ideas for the party. Any info will be great. I'm thinking of looking at WDW for cake pans or decorating items.

I'm an event planner, and have done two tinkerbell/pirate parties. We hung up (on fishing rod string) mini angel wings, but not the ones with feathers. We also got lime green and white asain lanters and hung them up as well. I adorned them with white and lime green feather boa's and jewles. For Minnie, you could get white lanters and put either red or black or both polka dots on them... or get white ones, put red feather boas around the top and bottom, and then do black polka dots on it.... Maybe even make some sort of ears and attach that to the top as well. I wouldn't do a cake, but make cupcakes, some lime green, some red and black. Hope some of my suggestions work for you!

First I think it would be adorable if the both wore costumes.....
I would bring bring photos of Tink & Minnie & the castle to the bakery and have them scan the photos ...have Tink flying around and Minnie in front of the castle.
Special order M&Ms in the appropriate colors with the girls name on the side and date of the party. Lime green for Tink & red for Minnie. If you have 2 tables matching confetti looks great sprinkled on the table cloth.

I would decorate the table/tables with the coordinating colors and have one centerpiece made of a basket filled with Tink & Minnie Accesories to win by simply putting the penny under the chair trick.
Oriental trading has official Tink & Minnie temp tattoos so that could be a fun thing to do.
I'm not a fan at all of boas but the paper lanterns work out wonderful.
I would stagger the lanterns and also put stars dangling from the fish line...afterall they are celebs in our house and it seems they must be in yours as well!
