Need ideas for dinner WITHOUT the kids!

Hi,
We always base our dining choices at WDW on things the kids will like. (Character meals etc...)

Well, it looks like DH and I might get two nights kids free and I have no idea where to make ADR's!!!

Where would you eat if it were just you and your spouse?
I am looking for any recommendations!

A few things:
We don't drink, so that doesn't matter to us and we are open to park, resort or Disney Spring restaurants.
Doesn't need to be a romantic place. We like all different kinds of food, so not picky.
CA grill is not an option. We are already going there for Brunch with the kids.

We like Sanaa or Kona. Hell, even the sushi bar there.

We have done The Wave and Cape May sans kids, as well.

Biergarden is our favorite adult-only restaurant and we have also had a good dinner at Jiko and Bluezoo as well, just the two of us.

DH and I had our date night at Le Cellier the last time we went and we loved it so much we're doing it again this trip. Delish and romantic!

Victoria & Alberts is truly a once in a lifetime experience. But I read recently that a dinner for 2 (probably with wine) was between $600 - $700. Not an average couples night out.

Where have you already been? What kind of food do you like?

Sanaa would be a good choice, but I'd say that about going with kids also. Yachtsman or Schulas would be good for a steakhouse. The new Disney Springs options are supposed to be really fun, depending on what kind of food you like. I've heard that Bluezoo is a good option as well.

Artist Point or Tiffins. Both are gorgeous, refined and quiet and the food is exquisite.

It really depends on what your "vibe" is. My DH is a meat and potatoes kind of fellow, and he believes that food at the California Grills and Victoria & Alberts of the world is most likely delicious and created by talented chefs--but it's "tiny" and he would require another meal just to satisfy whatever is in his tummy making those velociraptor noises. If we had a night to ourselves, we would choose Raglan Road, Boatwright's, or Kona. No matter what you choose, just enjoy your time together!

Thanks everyone. Your ideas have been helpful and have given me a place to start the search! I would love to do V&A, but with the price it seems like something we should save for a special anniversary or something.

We have been to the majority of the most popular restaurants, so I was just trying to find or think of something a little different that I never considered before because we would have the kids with us.

Oh yes, Raglan Road is one of our favs, but the music is fun and your kids might like it!

We love having date nights in EP WS. Our favorite spot there is Spice Road Table. The atmosphere, service and food are fantastic. Tiffins would also get a vote from me if you are interested in going into AK. Have a "mocktail" at Nomad Lounge first (they are delicious!). If you aren't interested in going into AK, I would consider Jiko's or Sanaa at AKL which is fun to visit. A restaurant on the Boardwalk followed by the evening entertainment there would be fun, too! We like the Swan/Dolphin restaurants best over there - bluezoo, Il Mulino and Kimono's (if you like sushi). Play some carnival games and rent a surrey bike!

We are doing Jiko for the first time during our couples only trip in July. We do Boma all the time with our son but have always wanted to try Jiko. I read a LOT of excellent reviews of Jiko.

Another place to consider that we LOVE when it is just me and my DH is Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar but only if you can get one of the little sofas in the room that is set off the side on the right. It is such a quaint, romantic little spot and what we love best is we have NEVER felt rushed there like you do at most WDW restaurants. They have some nice sample entrees that you can share and some larger items and I have read that you can get anything the main restaurant serves, although we have never tried that. Even though it is a Wine Cellar there are always plenty of couples there who are not drinking.

A place we also really like is La Hacienda de San Angel. They also have entrees for two that we really like. Spice Road Table is another spot we like. We sit out on the patio and, again, share a few items.

Disney Springs restaurants could be a nice option to. We are trying Morimoto on our trip in July for the first time. We have done Boathouse before but we usually sit at the bar out on the water and share a few appetizers.

DH and I love California Grill. There is a little seating area off to the side of the bar area where you can sit right next to the window and see MK - what a great view! You can order a complete dinner in that area or what we do is order some cocktails and appys. so much fun!
