We have decided NOT to do the meal plan (sorry I am not up on all abbreviations) & will be using the $500 credit for our 5 day trip in May. It will be me, DH, & 2 sons - 7 & 3 1/2, I have one ADR at Chef Mickeys & we only want to do one character meal as my 3 1/2 yr old is afraid of "costume" people. We would like to do just 2 other ADRs & not to fancy as my 3 1/2 yr old is not great with sitting at restaurants. What would you recommend or should we just do counter service (even though I think my husband & I would like to eat some non- fast food at least for a few meals.

Thanks for any input!

Well where are you planning on eating? Which parks or areas? My kids LOVE rainforest cafe and we have an ADR for the one in animal kingdom but there is one in Downtowndisney too.

Beirgarten is a blast with the live music and dancing. Most younger kids love it.

Also the coral reef can be useful if you get a table with a good view of the aquarium.

Try the sci-fi at hollywood studios. It is really neat because you get to sit in cars and watch old movies just like a drive in theater. Your boys will love it!

We will be 2 days in Magic Kingdom (one day being the first day we get there); 1 day in Epcot; 1 day in MGM & 1 day in Animal Kingdom.

Both of my boys enjoyed Teppan Edo. The food was fantastic, and the chef put on a great show. My boys were 20 months and 4 when we went if that helps.
