Need hotel help please!

Would like to do a Thur-Sun in mid June 2011.

Would really like to stay in Coronodo for the beach experience but all the hotels are really pricey. Are they worth it, if so, which one?

Or looking at Hotel Circle or Mission Valley, or are they the same? Those seem fairly pricey as well, like $150 per nightish. Don't want a dive, would like to enjoy the vacation.

Where is a good place?

I'd like to stay right about $150/night. Best western in Coronado is about that but it doesn't look very nice. Really like Loews, it's around $220/night.

We're going to Coronado next week for the first time and will be staying at the Marriott Coronado Island Resort and Spa for $130/night through the name your own price feature of Priceline. The only reason it's that expensive is because I just booked it yesterday (too last minute). For heavens sakes don't spend $150 for a Best Western! Try Priceline. For Coronado you would want to only bid for a 4* which would give you several free rebids. Check out Bidding for Travel and Better Bidding websites for help on Priceline if you're not familiar with the process. You would only end up with our hotel or the Loews for anywhere between $90 - $130/night as they are the only two 4* hotels on the island that participate with Priceline. Of course if you wait to book that could all change so just be sure to do your homework. Good luck!
