Anyone have any ideas on cheap hotel accomodations for a party of twelve, half of us are adults and the half are children for a 9 day trip over christmas and new years...we arent picky, just want to have a place to lay our heads....also all of us have AP's in case you have any ideas with AP discounts....please help!

We did Desert Inn & Suites with 11. They have several room options, check out their website.

We are also travelling with a group of 12 in November (7 adults, 5 kids). We have found for us, it is cheaper to rent a house down there. By the time you add up the cost of multiple hotel rooms, it's about the same as a house. Plus you have the benefit of having more space than a hotel room, a washer / dryer and a kitchen to cook meals. We saved ALOT of money just by eating dinner in the house every night. A group that big eating meals out would have cost a small fortune.

You can look for homes to rent on vrbo.com. Search for the Anaheim area. There are many that are very close to the parks. It didn't sound like you were thinking that way, but I thought I'd throw it out as a suggestion.
:)

Are you flying or driving in? Be aware that DI&S has a strict one car per room policy --- and they don't even honor that! We stayed there and nly had one care. One night DH got in late around 3am, and there were no stalls left. So they made him park at their other property on Katella. They didn't even care that we couldn't find a place to park despite their 'strictly enforced' one car per room rule.:rolleyes1 I guess it's not that strict as someone was taking up two stalls.

Thank you for the link for houses so far what we had found was very expensive but i will keep looking. I did look and DI&S and the parking will be a big problem we will have 3 cars. Luckily the eating out is not to expensive as we eat cheap and take plenty of snacks and drinks into the park. Our children are all small and dont eat much them selves we can usually split 3 childrens meals between them all. However having a kitchen would save us that much more at least for breakfast and dinner.

You know, I forgot that you are going during Christmas & New Years and that is typically considered peak season (which equals higher rates!). :sad1:

You can try this link......I have found it to be very helpful. On the left side, look at the large family suites. You might be able to book 2-3 rooms to accommodate everyone.

I am going to look into buying Park Hoppers from AAA when we go in Nov. I think they are the same price but you get FREE parking at the parks.

Good luck with finding a place to stay! :goodvibes
