Why would your FI request a non Disney HM we went to Disney for 3 weeks for our HM and loved it I couldn't imagine going any place else for it. You could come to Canada and go to Toronto and the Niagara wine region very nice and some great hotels

How about NH in the MT. Washington valley. The Mt Washington Resort is just beautiful and still close to most attraction. Here's a link to there web site and a picture of the place.
