Ok here's the deal ....

I'm going on my honeymoon from 04/23/06 - 04/29/06. I purchased the dining plan but need to get my ADR's soon and don't know what to book. What are your top 5 Sit down dining or experiences that I must try? :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Congrats! You don't say where you're staying, and that could have a little bearing on where you wish to eat. Barring that, however, I'd suggest Artist Point at WL. Make a later ADR (8 p.m and on) and you'll have a better chance of a romantic meal. Fewer children is the reason, though to be fair, I've never seen a child too rambunctious in there. Even though she's mostly quite well-behaved, we try to take our own daughter around 5:30 - 6:00 so that we'll be gone before the late evening diners.

The food is superb--I recommend the buffalo filet served medium rare. That should follow the delectable smoky portabello bisque, and then finished off with a berry cobbler and their wonderful French press coffee. The wine list is also topnotch. Service is exemplary and the ambience of AP and WL is captivating. After dinner, I suggest you take a stroll around the grounds, watch the geyser, sit on the beach, and just relax. It's a grand experience. :) paw:

We honeymooned there this past Oct.!!! It was wonderfuL! We ate at Le Celier...hands down our best meal. We also ate at CRT for dinner...service was excellent. Ate breakfast at WCC at WL...too much fun!!! I would avoid Bomas and Alfredos...bad service and food. I forgot to add we had the most romantic diiner at Narcooses, we watched the fireworks during dinner!! Congratulations!!!

OK, five nights of romantic dinners. Here's my choices from ones we've gone too.

1) the castle, how about window seat at dinner

2) Artist Point ask for window seat here too

3) Le Cellier

4) Grand Floridian Cafe-I've said this 1000 times, but the Chocolate Fondue for two is soooooo yummy!!! Also charming atmosphere.

5) Hmmmmm, how about adding a "fun" meal....Whispering Canyon Cafe

Other great choices for only the last one, my first 4 remain fixed!!!
California Grill
Chef Mickey
Sci Fi

We're going the exact same days!!!!!!!!!
Our dinners are at Artist Point, Le Cellier, Grand Floridian Cafe, Olivia's and we're trying a new one to us...Raglan Road
We also have a lunch or a brunch planned for each day, we usually make two ADR's a day.
On Sunday we're going to the Great American Pie Festival in Celebration for unlimited pie!!! That's our 5th meal. We are "empty nesters", so we also enjoy the "quiet romantic" places.
