Need holiday party ideas for 3rd grade classroom

Since I am the "lucky" room mom for my daughter's third grade class, the teacher just hit me up for party ideas. I found a holiday bingo game but that's about as far as I got. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Can you bring in sugar cookies and have them decorate them?

Last year we did stations at different tables of five. One table played a game, another did a craft...sock snowman and another group did a cooking thing like the cookies. Kids rotated tables every 15minutes.

for DD's class this year, we came up with 4 stations: cookie decorating; winter/holiday bingo; the dreidl game; and Christmas/winter crafts (mostly involving Santas and snowmen foam stickers - easy and little mess!).

What about a pull string pinata or 2? Kids love those, and with the pull string, you don't have anyone swinging a bat around.

You could also do small gingerbread houses with graham crackers and milk cartons.

One thing we did for my daughter, was get sugar cones, and put them upside down on a plate (pointy side up), frost them green, and then let the kids decorate them like Christmas trees with licorice, m & m's, silver dragees, etc. It was cute and her friends really liked doing it.

I made a pin the nose on the raindeer today. I also bought a craft picture frame for them to make. (we had a bad halloween party.Head roommom didn't show up and there was nothing for the kids to do.)SO i'm going prepared w/stuff to do.
My friends dd class is doing rolled up toliet paper fights(looks like snow balls)
