What is there to do close to the resort, at the resort, what is in walking distance and what do you need a car for?

When you get to HH, there are all kinds of free publications that you can pick up at grocery stores, restaurants, etc. that list the current special events.

Don't worry; you don't have to be bored at HH! (Unless you want to!)

There are about 6 restaurants within walking distance of the resort. You will need transportation for the other 295 dining options on the island.

The resort itself offers some canoeing, kayaking, shelling, crabbing, gyotaku, crafts, nature walks, Dolphin Tours and many more activities and there are tennis courts and golf courses nearby.

The island has lots of shopping, with both local boutiques and outlets to choose from (you will need a car for these). There are historical sites, museums and galleries nearby as well as trips to Savannah and Charleston.

The beach is about a mile away and transportation is provided from the resort between 10:00amd and 4:00pm.
