Need help...

Hi everyone,

today I found a box with Walt Disney pins.

I don't know anything about it. It's a blue box with "Walt Disney World" written on it.
Inside are 4 pins (4 figures which present the number 2000). On the inside of the cover is written "Celebrate the future hand in hand".

Is the box special or common?

It would be great if you could help me.

Do you know something about it? Is it special? I can't find much about it.... It would be very nice, if you could tell me something about it.

"Celebrate the Future Hand in Hand" was the theme for the year 2000 (and the start of the new millenium) at Disney World. The boxed set was probably released for that year. The above link to pinpics has a little info on the pin set and there are several on ebay.

if i remember correctly the boxed set was sold as a limited edition set , not because there were a limited number of pins made (some say limited edition 1 out of 1500 which those are more rare example http://www.pinpics.com/pinMT.php?pin=38367&pinno=2000&limited=LE 1500&keyw= ) but it was listed as a LE because it had the year 2000 on them so it was limited for the year 2000 celebration and sold through out the year , many bought the set for 35.00 rather inexpensive because it had 4 pins and could be traded separately ,

Since you have the real set with the box and everything its worth about a grand. or 1,000$.
the ones listed on ebay are fakes.
