Need help

Hello all

DH found out that he may be losing his job in30 days. We have a dd3 and I already work full time. I need to earn some extra money with a second job but I want to do it from home so I can work after dd goes to bed.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry to hear that bad news. I hope that he finds something soon. In the meantime, check out http://join.liveops.com/ . You basically set your own hours and work as an customer service rep for a variety of clients. You would be working as an independent contractor, so you have to pay your taxes, social security, etc. yourself. And there are no benefits. Get the application started now if you are interested because it can take a while to get the ball rolling.

I guess I don't understand why you need to take on a second job. ??
Will your husband have severance pay and/or be eligible for unemployment?
Can you take your child out of daycare and let him care for her while he looks for jobs, eliminating that bill for a while?
Has your husband started looking for something new?

Good questions. I think he will be able to find another job but will need to take a significant pay cut. If I don't get something to help supplement then we will be in trouble. He would also be looking for something else to help supplement.

We are not sure about unemployment and certainly no severace. He is having problems with the company management (small company that really does some terrible business practices). He has just held on to it because of the economy.
