We have had some real strong winds the last few days... Well my bell flowers are almost laying down... Can I stake these?

Nat - I am not sure about this ... but it would seem like you should be able to. Last year, I took a tip from Snowwark and cut a section of old panty hose - and used it to tie up a stand of obedient plants that were falling over. Basically I just took the panty hose leg and wrapped it around the lower stalks and tied it loosely together. That was all the support the plant needed to stay upright. The pantyhose was hidden by the foilage and did not show either.

Hope you get a good solution soon.

Nat, that's disappointing, they were just about ready to open were'nt they?
I would probably go ahead and stake them, at this point what do you have to lose, just don't put the stake too close to the roots.
The pantyhose idea works, just make sure to use a nuetral colour, nothing too flashy.........no fishnet stockings! :D ;) :)
Foam covered wire works well also.

.....I couldn't resist.......lol!
