I'm planning on taking my family as well as my mother to DW in late february or May can anyone tell me what month is better.
Also I have a 6 month old and the quotes i get are for a larger room we don't need and everyone tells me not to mention him since he doesn't take up much space but I don't know.....:confused3

Please help if you can we would love to stay at Pop

1. If you mean by "better" = less crowds and less $$$, then February would be the choice.

2. You can have up to 4 people PLUS an infant under 3 in a Pop Century room. It would be crowded, but doable, especially if you don't spend much time in the room. When you call for quotes, request SPECIFICALLY Pop Century for an accurate quote.

:welcome: to the Dis!! This is a great place for lots of info with many experienced, helpful folks. I'll be glad to help you with any other questions!

I prefer May because it is warmer and because of the Flower and Garden Festival. All of the topiaries are gorgeous and truly spectacular. I have been in May several times, but never in February so I can't really compare the two, just give my opinion on May. I agree with the PP that the crowds and $$ is probably better in February though. However, the crowds in May are still very doable.
Have a great time while you are there!

You really should make sure Disney knows you have a six month in the room. The reason for knowing how many people are in a room are for fire regulations. I think you can realize how important it would be for firefighters to know that there was a six month old in a room.

You said that your were taking your family and mother but you kept getting quoted a larger room which you don't need. What are you specificially telling the reservationist when you call? Are they trying to give you a suite when you just want standard rooms? Or quoting you a price for a cabin at Fort Wilderness? You will have to be specific when you call as to exactly what you want and need. And please, include the baby when you make that call. He's free in the room but please have his existence noted.

I think you would like May better.... I have traveled both months.... February can still be chilly and you may not want the baby out all day in that weather... also if you are bringing your mom along she might really enjoy the Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot.

As far as the room.... I would let them know you have an infant.... I also would consider a Moderate hotel as the rooms are slightly larger and baby's come with stuff.... the Port Orleans Frnech Quarter might be a nice choice as it isn't very large.... and it is beautiful..... the rooms are nice.... we very much enjoyed our stay there. Also the moderates have refrigerators in them that you might need for bottles. You will have to pay extra for that at the value resort.
