I talked my wonderful wife into going back to Disney again this year. Her one stipulation was that i must find a cheaper air fare to Orlando. I can get a flight out of Buffalo in Sept. for 314.00 including taxes return. Needless to say this is far cheaper than flying out of our gloriously expensive Toronto Intl airport. This is where your help and advice comes into play. We have never flown out of Buffalo and any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Best wishes in your planning

I would check out SW (southwest airlines and also AT (Air Tans)
Many here have downloaded "Ding" from southwest which lets you enter you dept and arrival city ei BUF -MCO .You are notified if a sale occurs .
Another place to check out would be www.kayak.com www.travelocity.ca and
www.expedia.ca
Check out Buf airport web site for parking .
Hope this helps
Hugs Mel

I'd try Kayak or SW too - I'm positive you can get a better price then that - might get a good deal leaving from Rochester too and it's about 45 mins farther then BUF.

There are alot of hotels in buffalo that have park and fly deals if you end up with an early flight out but parking in buffalo is cheap compared to TO anyway.

Good luck and happy planning!

If the 314 is per flight you can do a lot better than that. Even if that is for two airfare I still think you can do better than that. My experience has been that you can get return airfare on Southwest or Airtran in the $100-$125 range per person. 5 of us have flown out of Buffalo in October of the past two years. Both times the total cost for 5 flights was between $550-625.

Keep watching Southwest & Airtran. As well, go to the Southwest site and register to receive their promotional airfares which are call DING fares. You'll frequently find flights for less that 50 each way Buffalo to Orlando.

Don't be afraid of flying out of Buffalo or of using Southwest or AirTran. we've been very happy with both.
