We love the YC and wish we could stay there again in Oct but the only thing open with the 40% off code is the BW. Do you think DH and I will like it? Is it quiet like the YC and how is the quiet pool?

Hey,
We've stayed at Beach Club and we're going to be staying at Boardwalk in a little over two weeks we've never stayed at YC. But we've been over there on that side alot because we've stayed at Beach Club alot. There is a pretty big difference in the two between BW and YC. The Boardwalk is a lot of nightlife and is pretty busy in comparison. Is that a bad thing? We don't think so we love it. It is a beautiful resort and if you want to you can request to be by the quiet pool so it's not so hustle bustle. We love it at the Boardwalk, hope that helps...

The BWI is great but like you I prefer the Yacht Club. Quiet depend on the location. We had a boardwalk view & I thought it was a bit noisy especially after 11PM I am a light sleeper so everything that I am not use to wakes me up & I have a hard time falling back to sleep. The noise was coming from a street show that should have been shut down by 10 PM at the latest which I was told by one of the managers. Would I stay there again not sure but it is a nice resort. We are going back this Sept but staying in a Garden Suite so it should be quiet I hope :lmao:

We have a standard room booked, I would hope to get close if not right next to the quiet pool, I have a feeling that is where we are going to spend most of the afternoons. I do not want to be over the front parking lot.

Here is another question, we walked over there last week and saw these adorable little cottages by the quiet pool, they had a picket fence, a gate, their own little mailbox, just too cute. Are those regular rooms or suites or villas?? It was not on the BWV side of the resort.

We have stayed at BCV and BWV. Our Boardwalk stay was in a preferred view villa and it was quite nice (view of the Swan and Dolphin and the waterway to DHS). It was pleasant and quiet. If your BW room isn't a BW view, then I think you will be fine. You will be in the same approximate area (beware the infamously loooong Boardwalk corridors!) as YC, and even closer to the studios!

They are called Garden Suites & connected to club level. They are really nice inside. We booked last year during the bounce back going this Sept. It is in a quiet area. :) I don't blame you for not wanting a parking lot view. Put on your request near a quiet area that should help out a bit:goodvibes The room number they gave us (front desk) was 5170 and it was over quiet pool & a standard room
