I'm staying at WL in August on concierge level thanks to the Disney Visa 4 for 7 and my question is, when sitting on the balconey can you see over the wall in front of you to see things down below?

It seems to me from the pics I've seen that you must stand to see things below, because of the solid wall/roof in front, instead of the rails balconies on the other floors have.

Thanks in advance.

You can see some things when sitting, if your chair is right up to the rail. However, its a much much better view when standing.

in a box, or do you have a view straight out? What I'm trying to say is does the wall go up above your head, or is it at chin level?

Thanks in advance.

I'm curious about the Disney Visa promo of 4 for 7. Did they offer 7 nights for the price of 4? I recently got the same card and didn't know if that offer was still available. Did you book recently?

Just ask them at check-in if you can stay in a room on a different floor.

We did this a few years ago. I thought the 7th floor would be too high for me.

This time we are staying on 7 because it is so quiet. I'm sure they will do whatever they can to help you.

As long as the top of the wall is below eye level I'll be fine.

Minnie Mi, I booked Monday. The deal is good until April 30th.

Tell them where you want to stay and they'll let you know what's available. I was booked in WL courtyard view and was going to buy 5 day hopper passes, but because of this deal, I'm now in WL concierge with the UPH pass for the length of stay, for the same price. Fantastic deal.

Call now and make those ressies!!!

I'm from Johnston, how about yourself?

Also when will you be going to the WORLD? I'll be there 8/13-8/25.

It's a small world! (groan) I live in Wakefield. We're going in October. We had a blast at last year's MNSSHP and want to go back again. We've stayed at WL twice and absolutely love it. We had a room on 5th floor with a decent balcony and view of the pool area and 7 seas lagoon. It was a perfect spot for watching the water parade. Do you know about asking if you can be a flag family? If you're staying concierge, you are probably in a better position to ask

LOL - I've read this topic twice now and thought "No, the vets (thinking veternarians - BTW I can't spell, sorry) are at Animal Kingdom Lodge not Wildnerness Lodge." Just a quirky thought - so I thought I'd share

Yes I know about the flag family, but thanks for inquiring.

Though I have visited WL on a past vacation this will actually be my families first time staying there.

We are staying at Universal's Royal Pacific Resort 8/13-8/16, then heading over to WL from 8/17-8/25. We know how beautiful WL is, and have been told that the Royal Pacific is also a beautiful resort. We've always stayed in Disney and drove over to Universal, but because of the great info you find on these boards, we will be staying for the first time in Universal and using the "FRONT OF THE LINE" feature.

Just can't wait for this trip!

You have a safe and wonderful trip.
