How do you write a sympathy card for parents who have lost their 20 year-old son suddenly? He apparantly died of sleep apnea. He played soccer with one of my sons 10-12 years ago. The boy's mother is the cousin of a long-time friend (we knew her before her son was born). They are people we don't see often, but if we "bump" into them at a store, we'd say "Hi". DH & I would like to send a card (we found out about this after the funeral). What to write? We don't know what they're going through (Thank God!) Should we just sign it: Our thoughts and prayers are with you? Anyone have suggestions?
