Need help with Vacation Rentals PLEASE :)

In trying to keep my options open for our trip to Orlando for our anniversary, we started looking into rentals. When looking on a site that a friend gave to me I realized that even though I have been to Orlando soooo many times, I am clueless as to local.

Has anyone stayed in a vaction rental that they could reccomend? Or even help in telling me what is a good location to look in. We will be mostly doing US/IOA but I will HAVE to get in at least one DIS park

There are a lot of options and choices.

Take a look at http://www.stayatemeraldisland.com/HomesForRent/GuideChoice.php that may help you ask and answer what you want / need from a vacation home.

Most of the vacation homes are south of WDW. There are a few condo places nearer Universal, but not (as far as I am aware) single family homes.

If you have more details on things such as,

• do you want a home, townhome or condo
• how many guests or how many bedrooms do you want / need
• what amenities are important to you (both in the home and in the community
• how far are you willing to travel
• do you want a pool / spa / splash pool

There is a new resort closer to Universal than most of the other rental villas. I think it is called Vista Cay resort. Looks very nice and would be quicker to get to US/IOA than if you stayed over on 192 in Kissimmee. I could be wrong, but from my understanding it is near the convention center on I-Drive.

It's near the convention center but on Universal Blvd. These are condos, no pool homes. But it's new and very nice.

Vista Cay has condominiums and townhomes. There are 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condos, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom condos (different sizes), and 3 bedroom, 3-1/2 bathroom townhomes. It is about 3-4 miles from universal, and 1-2 miles from Aquatica, Sea World, and about 1/2 to 1 mile off of International Drive. There is a Publix shopping plaza walking distance (1/8 mile). It is a 5 star gated community, each property is privately owned.

They have a 10,000 sq. ft. Clubhouse and a beautifully landscaped lake with a walkway.
