Ok, So we are taking a LONG OVERDUE trip June 2-11, 2011. Last time we were at Disney was 2007! Everytime we have went it has been myself, DH, DSS (13) and DD (8). We had an unexpected addition to the family DSD (14). She has never been to Disney ever before (can you imagine??) So anyways we always shared meals before except obviously buffets and used the extras for a couple of extra breakfasts. I want to do the same again this time, however with an extra person and being out of the loop for awhile, Im afraid I NEED HELP in the planning!

Here is what we have so far:

6/2 Coral Reef Dinner
6/3 Chef Mickeys Dinner (cant share)
6/4 San Angel Inn Dinner
6/5 Akershus Breakfast (cant share)
6/5 Whispering Canyon Dinner (We may do the skillet but not sure yet)
6/6 Ohana's Dinner (cant share)
6/7 Crystal Palace Breakfast (cant share)
6/7 Teppan Edo Dinner (can we share??)
6/8 1900 Park Fare Dinner (cant share)
6/9 Tutto Italina Dinner
6/10 Liberty Tree Dinner (cant share)

We will probably be sharing quite a few CS meals and will use up the last of them on our last day for lunch and dinner (6/11). So what I need help with...as you can see we have 10 TS credits each but 11 meals. I need suggestions as to larger portions at the places we can share. If I can squeeze out enough I would like to possibly add in something on 6/11 or maybe an extra breakfast somewhere. Please let me know your thoughts.

TIA!!!

First of all, are you sure you're getting 10 credits each? If you check in on the 2nd and check out on the 11th, that's only 9 nights by my count, and DDP credits are awarded by night, not by day.

Okay, that aside, we'll leave the 8-year-old out of this, as her credits are basically going to be used for her (if you want to get her a kids meal at every location, pay OOP at places like Coral Reef or San Angel Inn).

Assuming 9 nights, that gives you a grand total of 36 adult TS credits. With 6 "admission" meals on the list, that accounts for 24 of those credits, leaving you with 12 credits and 5 other TS meals. If you're OK with sharing at all of them, that allows you to split two meals at each of those 5 locations, with 2 additional TS credits remaining. Which you could use at WCC if everyone wanted the skillet, turning that into an "admission" meal rather than a menu service meal.

Also note, if you haven't already, that the dining plan has changed since 2007. The regular or basic dining plan (1 TS, 1 CS, 1 snack per night) no longer includes appetizers for guests 10 and over at TS, nor do any of the dining plans include gratuities any longer.

It may make a difference as to sharing meals if you realize you will no longer be entitled to appetizers.

YES, Brainfart! I had been up since 6am and this was posted after midnight. Shouldnt have been trying to think lol. Yes, 9 nights, but they are good until 11th at midnight correct (10 days)? Yes. I know that the appys are gone and that stinks! I wish you could have your choice of appy or dessert. I am a non sweets person so I would rather have the appys lol.

Any who, we have never eaten at Coral Reef or San Angel before. Since we are staying a few extra days we wanted to do those (we usually are there 7d/6n).

So any recommendations of things to split? We are not really picky eaters and will pretty much eat everything. If its something someone doesnt like its generally something that can be picked out. We have eaten at Tutto and WCC before, however at WCC we have never gotten anything but the skillet so I pretty much dont know what larger portions are or what has changed since it has been so long since we have been.

Any an all suggestions for those for ressies would be appreciated, Oh and of course I love the food porn so share if you have em for those 4 places.

BTW.....Thanks guys for keeping me and my nonsense mind in place lol!!!

If there is somewhere better than Tutto & San Angel that you think we would really enjoy Let me know.

Also another question.......
Say for instance on Tuttos menu. Entrees are listed then sides are listed at a separate price. Would you only get the entree or would sides come with it? This is a little confusing for me!
