Does anyone have a touring plan they can share for a 2-day Park-Park schedule? We are going to be there Feb 8, 9. On the 8th, we have BMG at 8pm, so would likely need to be out of the park around 5pm. We would like to end up in USO on the 9th for the Mardi Gras parade at night.

I've checked out the UT touring plans, but they have us in both HP lands in the afternoons. Wouldn't they be really busy by then?

(1) Follow in Harry's Footsteps
start in US - London. do London/diagon alley. take HE to IOA. do hogsmeade.
(2) complete all other IOA of interest
take HE back to US
(3) complete all other US of interest
Find good spot for Mardi gras parade - I'd suggest across from macys, or 2nd choice mummy

Totally agree.
Honestly you just don’t need to plan like a touring plan. Look at the maps to be familiar, get there early, and download the wait time app. Bounce around as needed/ desired. Have your list of must dos and hit them in the beginning of the day.

If you want to eat at Mythos - if its a MUST - recommend making a reservation. We were lucky enough to get in with a 20 minute wait between lunch and early dinner one trip. Previous trip we were never able to get in. (Trips with my sister - she likes it a lot)

Personally, when with my DH we go to Leaky Cauldron and Three Broomsticks for late lunch.

Okay, so not as "scheduled" as WDW will be LOL
Not even close. Hehe. I like the "Harry's footsteps plan" a lot. There are a lot of good spots from which to catch the parade and you will not need to stake out a spot way in advance. We just stopped and watched near Mel's after grabbing a bite and watched. The tunes will stick in your head for days. "Feet Don't Stop Me Now".

It's encouraging to hear that we won't need as regimented a touring plan to do Harry Potter at Universal as we need for WDW. I've been (obsessively) working on our touring plans for WDW ahead of our FP+ day on Tuesday and just realized I probably shouldn't have been ignoring Universal planning. I've been looking for a touring plan for just HP and been having trouble finding something. And this sounds like just what I've been looking for!

So, on a day that the Touring Plans crowd calculator says is a 2 at USF and a 3 at IoA, we shouldn't have much a problem getting around? And Express Pass should be unnecessary?

Thanks again for both asking this question and giving such a great answer!
