Okay, so I do plans for my friends and acquaintances all the time but normally they have older kids so it's easy to me.
This one is a challenge for me because of limited days and age of kids. HELP!

Okay, so they are getting hopper passes to usE ONLY on 3/21 and 3/23. They want a rest day in between. There's no changing this. UGH

The group is husband, wife, dd5 and ds2 (almost 3)
He's said the kids like: Disney Jr characters, Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, etc., Princesses, Neverland pirates and the LOVE Star Wars.
I'm thinking 1 day at HS and 1 day at MK or ....
morning Hs, evening MK then morning MK and evening HS. And skip AK and Epcot all together.

Thoughts on that?

Also, keeping all that in mind, can you give me a touring plan idea?

THANK YOU!!!!!!

What makes things worse is that they are going in the heart of Spring Break with crowd levels of 9 both days. Are they staying on site?

The best part about going on vacation when your kids are pre school age is not being beholden to school breaks. They can go during much less crowded times. Too bad that didn't ask for your advice sooner.

There is a good chance that they will come back complaining about how crowded it was

Well, the dad is a teacher, so school break had to be considered.
does anyone have any touring suggestions? especially regarding Star Wars stuff, etc.?

Guess your idea of sticking with MK/DHS is good given the circumstances. One advantage is due to age/height restrictions a lot of E-ticket rides will be skipped. I hope they are ready to go rope drop to close!

It seems they are budget minded, but how would they feel about the cost of character breakfasts? You can compress some MNGs into a Disney Jr. breakfast at Hollywood & Vine, and an Akershus breakfast, although that will be exceedingly difficult to get now. Alternative would be H&V for dinner with fab five, and leaving the DJr. characters for the MNGs or the stage show. Tusker House would be a good option for an AK morning with the fab five as well.

So for Day 1 DHS:
H&V
Jedi Training
Star Tours
Toy Story
SW Launch Bay
Beauty and the Beast
Voyage of the Little Mermaid

Then to MK for attractions/parade/Wishes

Day 2 AK:
Tusker House
Kilimanjaro Safaris
FotLK
Finding Nemo
Walking around/MNGs

Then to HS for F! and anything missed on day 1

Then to MK just for fun.

I'd suggest 1 Day MK. 1/2 day HS and then back to MK. And what about Chef Mickey's for breakfast on their rest day? That gets you the Fab 5 and you're not wasting park time.
It would be nice to add a 3rd day and see Animal Kingdom. My almost 3 year old keeps asking about "going to the animal place" after we watched a safari video on youtube.

It's possible ST will not work. Check the height of the 5 year old.

easy wdw . com and touring plans . com both have young family-centered touring plans. Start with those as a template. Go with character-centric, avoiding almost all headliners. The nice thing about that age is that they don't know what they're missing. You need to find out if mom and dad are willing to overlook all the more adult things and thrill rides for the sake of a great time with the kids. We always chose to skip things like HM, dark rides, and super loud theaters, too. With my little ninnies that made the day self-limiting.

While a day at AK will likely be very fun, I think a ropedrop and evening at MK are essential at minimum, longer if they are going to take big breaks. Look at recommended days. Since they are off-site, avoid EMH parks altogether. That might help you pin down a lot. AK will certainly be easiest to have a relaxed day.

Don't forget Frozen in DHS.

Encourage them to have a double stroller and consider breaks in a restaurant (wherever you can get in at this point). We've found that a long commute for a nap that usually doesn't happen because of a messed up routine usually doesn't happen. Go with a LONG ride on the resort monorail, or taking your time through a TS meal instead. FoF parade was always missed when we tried for naps, too. By the time they eat and park hop they will have already spent 2 hours or more of their "break." For this strategy, on any MK day, take a look at lunch in monorail resorts, Fort Wilderness, or WL. That might open up more ADR options. On the DHS day, they can be at the Dolphin Fountain for burgers and ice cream (no ADR) in 20 minutes via the boat. Or explore the BW, though the TS there is limited, it gets them out of the park and crowds. The kids will like the boat ride.

March 21 all day at MK. Arrive at TTC at 8am for 9AM opening

Morning in Fantasy Land. Other touring really depends on availability of FP. Perhaps a table service lunch to give them some respite? Then after lunch tackle whatever they haven't accomplished in the AM. Remind them about FP #4, 5, 6...MK is one of the few places that has an abundance of availability for FP beyond 3 or 4.

Would they consider doing a character meal outside of the parks on their rest day?
Great way to meet Characters outside of the parks. Cape May Cafe, Ohana and 1900 Park Fare all have late breakfasts available for party of 4 on the 22nd. Garden Grove at the Swan has dinner available that night.

Since they are buying hoppers, I suggest AK and DHS on the 23rd with kids that age.

Rope Drop at AK, saving FP selections for DHS which is open until 9:30 that night.

1. Safari and Pagani Trek
2. Lion King Show 10 or 11 am show
3. Kali if Height requirement is met, and Maharaja Jungle Trek
4.Nemo Show 1pm
5. Dino Dumbo thing is interested
6. Meet Safari Mickey if interested.

Out of there by 2 or 3.

FP at DHS for after 5 to give a travel buffer

1. Disney Jr
2. Star Wars Launch Bay
3. TSMM FP+
4. VOTLM
5. Star Tours FP
6.Frozen Sing a long FP

Any thing else that they can squeeze in would be a bonus
