My sister and I are taking our families on a DCL vacation next April. We are also bringing my Mom. We are paying for all of my Mom's expenses. My Mom will spend half the trip in my cabin and half in my sister's cabin (I love my Mom but I might jump ship after 7 days rooming with us).

I'm not sure how tipping will work. What can we expect to have to tip the waitstaff for my Mom. Also, how do we figure out how much extra we need to tip housekeeping per room? She will be in my room 4 nights and my sisters for 3.

Thanks for your help!

Are your rooms next to each other? I would think that if so, you will have the same CM and he/she will be familiar with you situation. That way you can tip to the room she is officially register to. Same with Dinner, if she is sitting with you the entire time, put the tip again with the room she is registered to. If not, than I can understand your situation. You dont want to short change a CM for a period of time.
