Need help with Tink light up wand

Hi!

We went to Disney World in July and bought a light wand. It is a light purple color, has a big star on the top of it. When it lights up, it flashes 3 different colors. It has a star button on the handle to turn it on and has some decorative spirals going up the wand to the top where the star is.

Anyway, I bought it for my daughter's costume and put it away when we got home. I got it out and now it will only flash red, the other colors don't work. I called the merchandise number to see about an exchange and the guy said he can exchange it, but he needs the number off of it.

When we bought it, it didn't have a label or anything on it. As a matter of fact, it didn't have a tag at all. The girl at the register had to look it up in a book to enter it in the register.

Does anyone have one that has a tag? I need the number off of it to get it replaced. I am going to go through my things this weekend to see if I can find the reciept.

Can you call the merchandise # again to see if they can give you an Email address? That way you can then send them a digital picture of the Tink wand so they know what you are talking about. Might be worth a try. I just looked at my 2 and they didn't have the tags on them...sorry.

my daughter has the same wand and I know there is a trick to it but i can't remember for sure, you might have to push the button twice or something. I am at work so I will see if I can find it when I get home we tried to return it for the same reason and were shown how to do it but I don't remember for sure.
