I'm a bad cook. I'm like a kid in the kitchen who has no common sense.
My kids had a homemade mac&cheese at my friend's house, and they loved it. So I got the recipe from my friend, and I'm too embarrassed to ask her for the details she left out, because they're probably such common-sense things, and I'm so clueless.
So here's what she wrote in her email:
Okay. Here's my problem:
What temp should the oven be? And "until hot and bubbly" -- how long will that take, approximately? 20 minutes? An hour? I REALLY don't know!
Thanks for any clues!

It's pretty easy.
A box of noodles cooked.
mix with 1 container cottage cheese, 1 1/2 containers sour cream and 2 cups of shredded cheddar. Add a little garlic salt and pepper and bake until hot and bubbly...
Enjoy!
