We'll be arriving (assuming I get the flight I want) in Orlando at noon. Our first family trip will be 11/23-12/2, arrival is the day after Thanksgiving. Staying at POR. We're celebrating DH & I 14th anniv (11/20) DS #1 will be 9 (11/24) and DS#2 will be 6 (11/30).
I want to get the trip off to a rip roaring fun start so I'm thinking WCC will be fun for us and the boys. How long will it take to do the airport-ME-check in dance? I'm sure we'll be getting hungry so should I try to get a late lunch ADR and will it be rowdy and fun? Then MK for a bit. Or, get a bite at POR and go to MK a few hours and then a supper ADR about 5:30 or 6ish. Is this a better time for all the shenanigans? I think either way we'll try to give the boys a taste of MK. I know the day after Thanksgiving will be very busy so we're not going to get much done and realize that. We'll save our big MK days for the week after.
I also want to get a mickey head cake sent to WCC for an early birthday cake and then we can eat on it through the week. This will really be a surprise for them.
What are your thoughts yee ole disney planning experts.
Other ADR's will hopefully be:
11/24 Coral Reef with diver for DS#1 birthday
11/25 Sci-Fi lunch Hollywood & Vine Fantasmic supper
11/26 Boma supper
11/27 Crystal Palace breakfast
11/28 'Ohana supper
11/29 Le Cellier supper just DH & I the boys will be at Neverland Club
11/30 Chef Mickeys breakfast for DS#2 birthday
12/1 Prime Time lunch or supper not sure yet
12/2 Home day in afternoon (I hope). This day I've no idea probably use up whatever we have left.
I've built in down time so it's not commando. We want some different types of foods and fun. I'm trying to convince my DH that this isn't 10 days at Six Flags. He's content to let me do everything but is not convinced this is TOTALLY different than an amusement park. Me:
