Hi All...
I had posted a similiar question and somehow I think it got lost in the shuffle, regardless I have found this thread very helpful.. but perhaps a question or two more?
Unlike the original poster, I have just recently purchased the Cannon XT, not XTi, given the hardware difference would some of the reccomendations posted still apply for specific types of shots? I would think so given the difference in the cameras is slight, although I am not sure that I have the option to select an ISO of 3200. Thoughts?
I am somewhat familiar with the camera and changing the ISO etc(granted I have not had enough time to play with it yet but still 29 days before we depart)... but it has been a long time since I used an SLR (and that was film not digital) and will say my skills etc are rather rusty. Given that I would greatly appreciate any other hints/tips/techniques that would help to get a few fabulous shots out of the hundreds and hundreds I am destined to take.
Unfortunately, I will not be taking a tripod, with twin 4yr olds I have to conserve on what we carry. In the same vain any thoughts on capturing kids at the parks/resorts... and backdrops etc.
Thanks so much! These boards are great!
