Need help with t-shirt transfers

I am not a new member, but we are planning a surprise trip for our child this summer and they also post on the DIS so I can't post under my regular username... just in case.

We have made t-shirts for trips in the past and have gotten wonderful DISigns... but for some reason I did not even think about it for this trip until this past weekend. Guess I was so busy with everything else it never dawned on me.

Anyways, my dilemma is this. I spent yesterday while DChild was in school searching all the wonderful DISigns here and found several I can use without personalizing them (since I know time is very short). Last night while they were at an activity I went to the store and bought all the t-shirts I will need and hid them. Today I sat down to print them out and discovered I have NO clue on how to flip the images! DChild has always helped me do that part in the past and I can't ask them!

So, can anyone please help a computer dummie figure this out?

When you go to print you can change the image to "mirror image". I'm not sure what program/printer you are using, but in MS Word I click on "file" then in the drop down menu, I click on "print". Next you will get a popup that has several tabs. My printer is an HP so I don't know if your tabs will be the same or not, but the tab I click on is called "basic". Then if you look midway down the you will see "orientation" and a place to check a box next to "mirror image". Check the box for "mirror image" then click "okay" for that popup, which will put you back at the regular popup screen for printing. If there is nothing else that you want to change (i.e. print quality, etc.), then click "okay" and your image will be "flipped" as you called it when you print.

If you don't have a tab for "basics" look through each of the tabs on your print screen and look for anything that says "mirror image".

Thank you for the wisdom! I did manage to flip them another way, I googled it and found instructions for the Paint program. Very simple and I have no idea why I didn't think to do that first, I guess I am having a lot of DUH moments lately. Thank you again for the advice!
