Happy Memorial Day weekend friends!! Ok...will try not to write a book here...:rolleyes1
So, it's our friend's turn to join us at the World next year (2013) (we like to share the magic) and long story short, the plan was for 6/1-6/8. Problem is their DD doesn't get out of school until 6/5. Other problem is my national convention is ALWAYS the 3rd week of June so we can't move the trip up a week because, while my boss is very cool....I don't think he'll appreciate my being off for 2 weeks in a row. Plus, we'd arrive home on Sat and I'd have to turn around and fly back out on Tues. So, they decided it wouldn't kill their DD to miss 2 days of school, so we have moved the trip to Oct (:cool1:) and they will stay 5 days then DH and I will move to a 1BR for the rest of the week. Here's where it gets sticky, I PROMISED DH we would go to SWW next year. So, here's my plan...DH will get his SWW. I'm going to book at SSR as soon as the window moves up then try to move to BCV when our 7 month window opens (which will happen while we're there in Oct so I'll have to get away from DH so that I can call) so that we can just walk to DHS.
Here's the surprise....I'm NOT telling DH. I'm going to make this trip a surprise and give it to him for Christmas. He never wants anything anyway, so my Christmas shopping will be very easy this year!
For all of you who have surprised family, I need some suggestions. I'm going to give him Disney gift cards in his stocking (which he will open last) and print out the plane tickets (already figured out how to buy them without his knowledge) and the resort and dining confirmations. Need some ideas how to box, wrap, ect for Christmas morning!
Any ideas!! TIA!!

**Mods...I purposely posted this in 2 forums to try to attract more suggestions. If this is not ok, I understand! Thank you!

:) I would have to play the SW soundtrack while he opened the gift. I would also get him a Tervis Tumbler with their new SW logos. You can have it personalized with his Name, Star War Weekends, and the dates on it. I have given these as Christmas, Graduation, etc gifts. Everyone loves them. I recommend the 24 oz size. He could use it and look forward to his trip. I find them to be great adult gifts.

Just got a 16 oz for my BIL as a "happy" because this has been a hard year for him. It was the Rebel Alliance symbol and on the back I researched and I think it read " Alliance to Restore the Rebulic". He loved it...on the card I put "not big enough for Coke, but small enough for juice". I gave him a 24 oz. one for Christmas with his name and the Jolly Roger flag on it.

Where might one find these cups? We actually have a couple of them...LOVE them! I want to find a few "little" things to put in the box too and this would be PERFECT!!
