I don't have kids, but I have my DBF who is super picky, so he has found something to eat at ALL of these places (which is amazing).
Coral Reef - the dining room is LOVELY! And the food was super super delicious. And the chocolate wave for dessert!
Kona Cafe - dinner and breakfast here are both great. The dining room is fairly peaceful compared to the restaurants in the parks, and the food is really really good. Tonga toast for breakfast is a must!
Tony's Town Square - has become my boyfriend's "must-do" on each trip. Italian is the only type of restaurant where he can reliably find something he will definitely eat (usually lasagne or chicken parm). I had heard that this place was not great, but the food was good, the decor was cute (we sat near the Lady & the Tramp fountain), and our waiter was fabulous!
Sci-Fi Dine-In - love the atmosphere, it's just so campy! The B-movies are fun, the food is yummy, and really - DHS doesn't have too many options...
Having a hard time coming up with a 5th, but...
ESPN Zone - Boyfriend is a biiig sports guy, and God forbid there be a game on while we are in the World. So as a compromise, we usually end up at ESPN Zone at least once a trip so he can catch his team play and not feel like he missed out. The atmosphere can be a bit distracting with the dozens of TVs all on different channels, but the food is good (beer and bar food, really) and in big portions, and we have never felt rushed to give up our table while we watch the game.
Trying a few new places with
free dining in September and really looking forward to them - Raglan Road, especially!
