Hi,
I have a bounceback booked for next Sept/Oct with free dining. Was going to be me, my aunt and 3 kids going. Now, my mother also wants to come along. Current reservation is at POR for 5. Need to decide b/t Family Suites at All Star Music or Suite at CSR for the 6 of us. Which would you recommend and why? Difference is about $1240. Concerned most about noise, bus transportation and not having that "Disney feel" at the resort. All kids love spending time at the pool. Just getting basic dining plan. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.:flower3:

How important is $1240 to you? The AS Suites are two rooms with four beds and counch(?), the hotel is themed and you do share buses with the other AS resorts. Rooms and theming and pool will be 'nicer' at CSR but there is just as much Disney 'feeling' in my opinion at the All Stars. CSR Suites may be a bit larger and have more of a living room feel to them. I would suggest checking on sites that have reviews of these hotels (like the DIS) and see how much the price difference means to you.:thumbsup2

CSR - most definitely. We stayed there for the first time about 1 year ago & loved it (& they have refurbished since then) Bus transportation was great! You don't share buses with any other resort. We definitely felt like we were at Disney. No difference from when we stayed at POR in the past. It was wonderful. The pool is very nice. I think your kids would love it.

Good luck with your decision!:donald:

I'd take CSR if the money isn't a big deal. Another option would be just to get 2 rooms somewhere or to book a FW cabin, which would sleep 6. I personally would look into other options before booking a room at an All Star resort.

I loved the suite at ASMu. But, I had the bedroom to myself. I think it is a queen bed in there with pull-outs for 4 in the living area. It was nice to have 2 bathrooms and the mini-kitchen.

If you want more beds you may want to go with 2 rooms either at POR or a value. I was able to add a 2d room to my bounceback after I had returned home. Good luck.
