Need help with resort booking

--I am new to the world of Disneyworld! We have only done Disney Cruises and now have a Disney cruise booked for Feb 2019 (so far away, I know). We are planning on doing the cruise out of Miami and then renting a car and driving to Disneyworld for a few nights. Any idea when I can book a room for Feb 2019? I did try on the WDW site, but it is only giving me the option to book until end of 2018. Thank you SO much. I am totally clueless when it comes to Disneyworld and have so many questions!

You can call WDW and make a room only reservation 499 days in advance. If you later want to make it a package, you can call and make the change once packages open up for your time frame..

A DVC room can be booked by an owner 11 months in advance, so March 2018.
