A little background first - I have been planning trips to WDW for almost 20 years but my girls are now 26 & 20. Now trying to plan a trip with a 4yo girl who is mainly interested in seeing princesses and it will be their first time to WDW. We will have 3 or 4 day non-park hopper tickets and we are going in Aug.

Some of the things I know:

CRT
Akershus
Princess FPs at MK
A&E FPs at Epcot
Other character dining - Crystal Palace; 1900 Park Fare; Chef Mickey's; 'Ohana for breakfast
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
Of course rides in Fantasyland
Back to resort in afternoon for nap & relax time

What am I missing?

Thanks!

That's a fairly comprehensive list.

Our daughter was into princesses at one time. We would schedule BBB at the MK around 10:00-10:30 with lunch around 12:00 - 12:30. That gave us time to do some picture before eating lunch. (She will likely eat very little like our daughter.) The carousel, the mosaics in the castle and Cinderella's Fountain are all good photo ops.

It's been awhile since I have looked at these pictures. She switched to hair braiding when she turned 9.

My 4-year-old girl LOVES Disney Junior, especially Doc McStuffins, so either Hollywood &Vine or Disney Junior character meets are a must for us, as well as the Disney Junior show at HS.

Also, don't discount the "thrill rides". She's so excited that she's 40+ inches and can ride Kali, Splash, Soarin, and others.

My kids really liked breakfast at Cape May Café. I think you hit on all the other biggies and another poster already mentioned Disney Jr (my daughter still remembers that she was at Minnie's surprise birthday party). I would also add Enchanted Tales with Belle and The Little Mermaid ride at MK and the Little Mermaid show at DHS.

If you want a relaxing afternoon at Epcot after hitting the kid rides in the morning, then I would strongly recommend walking around World Showcase with a passport book. My 4yo DD loved getting the stamps and then timing the various princess meet and greets. In between all of that, the parents can enjoy some beverages, peruse the countries and all of you can watch any outdoor entertainment. When you approach WS like that, my daughter was never bored by the adult stuff.

My DDs first trip was at 4yo, and she was also princess obsessed. I'm not sure if DHS still has the Little Mermaid and Beauty & the Beast show, but she really loved both of those.

We also found quite a few princesses doing m&g's around the WS in Epcot. Again, not sure if they still do that.

But she really liked Future World in general at that age, especially Innoventions and Living Seas.

One other idea if you want to splurge, the spa at GF will do kids manicures and pedicures, DD enjoyed being treated like a princess there too :)

Thanks for the info. Yeah, it's been a while since I had to do the princess thing. Lol

Thank you for that, I forgot about Disney Junior and I know she loves it. Will definitely keep the rides in mind.

Thanks! I forgot to put down the passport book and princesses in Epcot. Did those with my girls.

Info about the spa at GF is nice to have. I know her mom and grandma love the spa so could be a possibility.

My 4yo DD also needs time to run around and play during the day. Disney can be a lot of standing and sitting. So find time to let her do the little play areas in the parks like in Dumbo, near Thunder Mntn, Hedge maze in UK Epcot, Boneyard in Animal Kungdom, etc.

Thanks for these. I forgot about the Boneyard - my youngest loved that place.

Don't forget about the parades! They are some of my 3 1/2 year old's favorites.

At 3, my younger daughter adores BTMRR, Splash, TT, and SDMT. After she rode those, she was actually a little disappointed in some of the other rides. She kept saying, "Let's ride the fast rides. Can we ride some more fast rides?"

Places like The Boneyard are great- both my girls love the playgrounds at Disney. The little one also loves the water play areas in the parks, but she can't stand being wet. o_O We have to bring her a change of clothes in the backpack for when she is done.

Surprisingly, both my girls love Spaceship Earth. My three year old kept saying, "Can we go in the big ball? When can we ride in the ball?" They get especially excited about being in the "movie," so be sure to tell her to look straight at the camera so it will capture her image. Once when we rode it the camera failed to get the pic so we saw a generic face on the little movie at the end. DD was not happy about that.

Don't forget the Fairies! When my daughter was 5, Tink visited our room and accidentally left her shadow there (cut out from Google)... My daughter was very excited to help Tink out and return it to her when we visited.

Mickey's Backyard BBQ was a bit hit.

Also I know Minnie has a breakfast? Cape May maybe?

I was surprised because even though my daughter was big into princesses and fairies, her favourites to meet were Mickey and Minnie. :)
