Need help with Phineas and Ferb DS game please

My DS6 has been getting very frustrated with his Phineas and Ferb DS game. When he goes into the backpack, he cannot get out. I have tried to help and have searched the website but could not find instructions about how to get out of the backpack and continue play. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
