Need help with onsite/offsite scenario

My plan for a mid May trip includes staying our first night (5/16) at the Holiday Inn at Disney Springs. Then, staying somewhere offsite for the next 6 nights. We are only staying there the first night to take advantage of EMH at HS the morning of 5/17. Am I correct in thinking that we will have one day of 60 day window for FPs that will only work on 5/17? And then we will have a separate 30 day window for each day that we are staying offsite?

I have an AP and the other 3 people will have 6 day park hoppers. The first day we will be going in a park is 5/17.

You will have ability to make FP+ at 60-days out for 5/16 and 5/17 -- your check-in and check-out days. The rest of your stay will book FP+ at 30 days.

Just in case you didn’t know, and come May this might change, but Disney hasn’t had morning EMH at DHS since December. They’ve been slowly changing them month by month to evening EMH instead, and RotR does not currently operate during EMH.

Based on what's been going on, i would expect that as long as boarding groups are being used for RotR (and/or MMRR if they use Virtual Queue for that when it opens), there will not be morning EMH at Hollywood Studios.
