Need help with online ADR...

How do you switch to a different time? I'm trying to move a breakfast at Chef Mickey's to earlier, but when I select it, it says I already have an ADR at that time. I'm nervous to cancel my original one first. How do you move times without taking a chance on losing both of them? I see the option to cancel, but not change times? Do I need to call?

I would call disney hotline to verify time change.

If you are picking up a new reservation and it says that the new reservation conflicts with another within the same time frame, the system is supposed to hold onto the original (first) reservation until you are checked out and completely done (confirmed) with the new one.

You will get a conflict message for any restaurant within 1 hour (60 minutes) of each other.

You can't "move" a reservation to a new time. You actually have to make a new reservation so when you find one that is close in time to the one you already have the system asks if you want to cancel the original reservation. I haven't had a problem when making a new res/cancelling the original one. If you are concerned you can call the dining reservation line and have the CM do it for you.

I've just done this yesterday with two of our dining reservations -- I tweaked the times just a little and the message came up that I have another reservation and do I want to cancel. I said yes both times, put in all the new information for the new time (credit card guaranty, etc.) and then got a confirmation for the new time at both places. I didn't lose either new one, just the ones I was replacing.

I just made a new reservation and cancelled the old one when I was done.
