There will be 6 of us, 3 adults, 3 teens. The onsite hotel are more then we want to spend but there are so many suite hotels too choose from.
I would like somewhere close to the parks, walking distacne would be nice rather not rent a van and somewhere that if we choose to not go to the parks the kids will still have plenty to do.
If anyone has any suggestions I would really apprecaite the help.
If anyone has any info about the Floridays resort that seems nice and in line with what we need but do they pressure you about buying a time share cause I would rather now deal with that hassel either.
Thanks all

We always stay onsite, so the only advice I can give you is the DoubleTree and Holiday Inn Express are across the street from the PBH. We rent a car thru Budget and return it to the HIE and walk back to the hotel.

Obviously, the DoubleTree is nicer than HIE and the walk is only about 5 min from PBH. Once at PBH, you can always hop the boat to City Walk if you're too tired to walk from PBH to parks.

I would recommend this hotel it is an all suite hotel. Mostly one bedroom but there are corner suites that create two bedroom suites.

We have stayed here before and absolute loved it.

I would recommend checking this hotel at www.embassysuites.com This hotel is off of International and Sandlake. The location is great and I think you would like it alot.

These suites have a living room with kitchenette, and seperate bedroom. The living room sofa turns into a full size bed. Plus my personal favorite a tv in each room. Free breakfast every morning.

If I was not so spoiled to stay on site this would be where I would choose to stay.

I'm not very familiar with the area, can you walk to the parks from Embassy Suites? Do you have to pay to park there every night? TIA

Take a look at the Hyatt Place Universal. They have rooms with two double beds and a pullout. It is about a 15 minute walk. Rooms are under $100.

Our first night in Orlando, Saturday night, we are staying at the Enclave there on I-drive. I have stayed there in the past and it is not that bad. We are paying $99 for a 2 BR with the terrace. They have shuttles to Universal so that might be a good option as well. They have a living area with a pull out sofa as well as a small kitchen, dining table and then one BR has 2 beds and the other has a King/Queen.

Embassy Suites on Jamacain ct is not within walking distance but there is a shuttle from the hotel to the parks. However, we have taken a taxi to/from the hotel and it only costs about 10 dollars each way.
