I have a FP + for Soarin' and now I'm not sure if I should cancel it for Living with the Land. Not sure if my girls will think its scary. They are 4 and 2. The 2 yo is almost 3 so she will meet the height requirement, just not sure if she will freak out. If I do keep it, which row should I go on..which doesn't got too high up? I'm really struggling with this FP because I heard its soo much fun! Ugh!

If you don't want to go up too high, you will want the row that is furthest in the back. I don't necessarily know that will matter though. It is dimly lit when the chairs go up so I think either they are going to be scared or they won't. Maybe your 2 y/o could sit on your lap?

Oh I didn't think she could sit on my lap? Then she can do that.

I'm pretty sure you can't have a child sit on your lap. Everyone sits separately and is harnessed in but the ride isn't scary unless they would be afraid of the dark.

I do not have first hand experience of holding a child. I don't have children. I guess i just assumed it could be done, like on Pirates or something like that you would. But in thinking it does make sense you probably can't as the ride does go up.

No lap children on Soarin' (or on any ride with a height requirement).

It's not scary at all, it's just like watching a movie of landscapes. However, it does lift off the ground and not just a foot or two. My concern with a 2-year old would be whether she would be able to remain seated. The harness locks, so she won't be able to open it, but will she start squirming? Will she want to try to get up and freak out when she cannot? Both of my kids at 2 were not in the "sit and watch a landscape" thing, but again, all kids are different.

Definitely don't get rid of Soarin FP+ for The Land FP+. You never need a FP+ for The Land.

The Soarin benches may only be a few feet off the ground, but you are virtually 100s of feet in the air. If you (or the girls) are afraid of heights, they may be frightened. My sister (in her 50s) will not ride and she is only mildly afraid of heights.

I sat next to a woman of a similar age to me who screamed in genuine fear the entire ride. I would personally say the two year old is too young
