I just posted this on another forum and think I might get more answers here...

I just need help with my "Don't forget..." list.

Like, ziplock bags, power strip for chargers, Dawn dish-washing sheets, etc..

What else???? I'm coming up blank!!

TIA!!

I got DD11 & DS7 each a desposable camera to use.

We also brought:
* disposable water cameras for the water parks & hotel pool (you can even take pictures underwater with these...kids loved that)
* extra batteries for the regular cameras
* extra sunglasses for everybody
* sunblock
* hats
* a plastic carrying case to keep the scrapbooking kits in that I would be buying...it keeps the scrapbooking kits dry & bent-free. I bought it at Michael's for about $5.00
* watershoes

that's all I can think of right now...hope this helps

I don't know if you have small children, but I was VERY happy I brought a bottle of Similason with me. It is a natural ear drop that supposedly helps prevent ear infections...and maybe they work because my DS used to get ear infections all the time as an infant, but since I discovered this stuff he hasn't had one (knock on wood!) Anyway, DS started complaining about ear pain our first day and had to leave MGM in tears...I put this stuff in his ear, he slept fine and never complained the rest of the trip. :sunny:

Good luck packing...and when you are repacking to leave, don't forget to check the porch and behind the bathroom door. In two other trips (not Disney) I've left behind the entire family's set of swimsuits and then a nice dress I borrowed from DSis...all never to be seen again. :blush:

I know I will be packing a small pharmacy this time!! Last year, I needed some nose spray and sore throat spray on the last couple days and I was out of luck on one of them and the other cost $12!!!!! :earseek:

Won't be forgetting them this year!!

Here's what I bring that usually comes in handy:

Asprin :headache:
Rain coats/ Umbrella :umbrella:
Sun Block :sunny:
Autographbook and Pen ::MickeyMo
Film :earsgirl:

Hope I Helped! princess:

My #1 don't forget item is the cheap plastic rain ponchos! :cheer2:

I get them at Walmart or Target... we each carry one in our fanny packs. They have saved us many times, and they are so much cheaper and less bulky than rain coats or the Mickey ponchos they sell in the parks.

Just got back from a week at WDW.

Emergency rain ponchos (the 79-cent Target kind) were invaluable - got caught in a torrential downpour the day before the hurricane last week! Had one tucked into my fanny pack, which saved me from buying one of the $6 Disney ponchos like my friends!

Moleskin - saved my feet numerous times.

Cell phones: with four adults in our party, all of whom have different interests, we split up many times. The cell phones saved us from the "Let's meet at Spaceship Earth at 11:00" blues. Then we could keep in touch and change plans at the last minute, without wasting time waiting for people.

We always take ponchos. Problem is...who wants to bother with trying to fold up a wet poncho and get it back into your backpack (or whatever you're carrying). We carry the ponchos in 2 gallon zippy bags. After we use them wad up the wet ponchos, stuff them in the zippy bag, squeeze out the air, and throw them back in the backpack. Nothing gets wet!

Also, take Advil at night to avoid sore muscles in the morning!
