Need help with Movie Title

There was a movie that was played a lot in the early 1990s. I believe it was a Disney movie.

It involved a young boy and some sort of flying saucer that he commanded..

any ideas?

I loved that movie...love the line about his brain leaking when the computer tried to put all the star maps into his memory.
