Thought I had this all figured out, but now my DD(7) thinks she's too old for Dumbo and Pooh's Many Adventures, yet not up to Space Mt. & Splash Mt. So, we probably won't be riding those. (I wanted to ride Dumbo & Pooh!, oh well!)
So, should we still hit Fantasyland first? We still want to ride quite a few things there. We'll be at MK at rope drop on Friday, October 27.

This was my rough plan:
Fantasyland first:
Peter Pan's Flight*
Cinderella's Carousel (maybe)
It's A Small World*
Mad Tea Party
Toontown - Mickey & Minnie's House (we'll meet them the night before at Chef Mickey's, DD just wants to see their houses!)*
Barnstormer
Take WDW railroad to Frontierland
Big Thunder Mt RR
Magic Carpets of Aladdin*
Jungle Cruise
Pirates of the Caribbean*
Haunted Mansion*
Mickey's Philharmagic*

We also would like to do: Astro Orbiter, Buzz Lightyear, and HS Musical show, but not sure where to squeeze these in.
Can we do all these in a day, or is it too much? If we can do all of this, how long would it take? The ones with stars are our must sees. And does my order sound good? We will be using fastpasses on some of these I think, but not sure which and when. Can anyone help?

We'll be going back the following night Sat., Oct. 28 for Spectro & Wishes and may be able to catch a couple rides that night.

Thanks for any help! Only 4 days til our first trip! Woo hoo! :Pinkbounc  :cool1: :bounce:

I can't really help you with your touring plan, I'm more of a wing it type person, although we do tend to hit Fantasyland first.

I just wanted to let you know that while you're in Fantasyland you should check out Mickey's Philharmagic. It's located across from Dumbo next to Tinkerbell's Treasures. It's a really great 3D movie you shouldn't miss!!

I'm sorry about your daughter saying she's too old for Dumbo and Pooh, remind her that nobody is too old for any rides at Disney!! We're all little kids when we're there. :)

Have a great trip!!

:wizard: we all rode Dumbo, Peter Pan,etc. for the first time this trip.....dd will be 13 !! we had fun.

Just wing it. Personally I hit MK in a clockwise pattern starting with Adventureland.

My brain could not handle running through MK randomly. Yes, I need help. :)

DO NOT WING IT! :) I am a "plan it all" person, and I swear those days that were well planned went much smoother. I think with you going this time of year, the crowds will be down (it was for us the 8th through the 13th). Still, I would get to MK at opening and start in Fantasyland--your order sounds good. You can probably get everything there ridden in an hour. Maybe even Philharmagic, if you don't plan to get to Toontown till about 10:30 a.m. I think you can do all this in a day, but it will be a LONG day.

Also, HSM pep rally ran from 11 a.m.(not 10 a.m. as previously advertised) till 5 pm on the hour, so we never caught it. Buzz Lightyear seemed to have a pretty long line by 11:00 when we were at MK for the second day during our trip. So, you could go to tomorrowland after Fantasyland and ride things there, if your daughter just wants to see Minnie and Mickey's houses, but not stand in line for all the autographs. Then it would be okay to get to Toontown a little later.

We did Adventureland and Frontierland later in the day and the waits weren't long at all. POTC was a 20 min. wait at 4:30 pm. and Magic Carpets had about a 5 minute wait by 2-3 pm, so I think you're okay there. I'm a true believer in the UG touring plans, but we were able to tweak them since the crowds were down, and we didn't need fastpasses for anything except Philharmagic.

Sorry this is so long, but if I can help anybody same time and energy it's worth it! Have a great time (it was our first trip, too!) :cool1:

I'm not a wing it person by any means. But you do have 2 thing going for you. 1. It should not be that crowded, 2. You're not doing the big line stuff. Take advantage of Fastpass for stuff if need be (like Peter Pan and Jungle Cruise). I would go on Pooh.

Go with a plan, but be prepared to "call an audible" if you need to. Have a great time.

Assuming your are there at rope drop- this would be my plan of attack.
1. Head to Tommorroiwland and get a Buzz FP.
2. Ride Astro-Orbitors
3. Ride Mad Tea Party
4. Ride pooh if it is a short wait (10 min)
5. Ride the Carousel
6. Watch Philharmagic (itr should be about 10 so you can get another FP)
7. Get a FP for Peter Pan - if it is not time yet ride the Haunted Mansion and then get your FP
8. Ride Small World
9. Head back to Tomorrowland and ride Buzz Lightyear
10. Walk through Toontown and see the Houses and ride Barnstormer
11. Ride the Railroad from Toontown to Frontierland (should be about 11:15am)
12. Get a FP for Thunder Mountain
13. Ride Peter Pan
14. Ride Haunted Mansion if you didn't earlier
15. Head to Adventureland- ride the Magic Carpets (about 12)
16. Eat lunch at Pecos Bills or if you want Columbia Harbor house do this before heading to Adventureland
17. Ride Thunder using FP
18. Ride Jungle Cruise or get a FP if the line is over 20 min.
19. Ride Pirates
20 It should be about time to find a seat in Adventureland if you want to watch the parade. After the parade you have time to watch HS Musical and the new Castle show with Mickey or ride anything you want again
