Need help with letter wording

I am sending a letter with a lanyard and a few starter pins to my cousin's DD for our upcoming trip from Mickey and the gang but I can't figure out proper wording for it. Gosh I hope my cousin doesn't find this thread and the surprise would be ruined!!

I was going to start it - Princess (Her Name) and that's as far as I have gotten. We are going to Theme Parks for 4 days and I want her to understand pin trading a little bit before she goes.

Perhaps, something like the following?

Princess ......,

I heard that you will soon be visiting Walt Disney World. We have a very special tradition here. We call it "Pin Trading". Using the special lanyard I've sent you, you trade pins with other Walt Disney World guests and cast members. The idea is to look on their lanyards for pins you would like to add to your collection. If you see one you like, simply ask that person if they would like to trade their pin for one of yours. It is so much fun! You'll get to meet some very nice people and collect terrific pins at the same time!

I can't wait to see you and the great pins you've collected!
