I can't come up with a final decision on what parks and what times. I posted about this before, but now I'm second guessing myself.
We have 4 full days there not including our two travel days. ( me, DH, DD 5 and DS 8...staying at Sunspree offsite, and buying a 3 day hopper as we want to have one "non disney" day )

My first question is we arrive on Friday night around 5pm into MCO....we pick up the rental and head to the hotel. Do you have any suggestions on what to do for a few hours? I was thinking we probably should just relax by the pool, and get something to eat. ( I'd love to hit DTD, but not sure if that is a good idea seeing as it will be late for the kids)

Sat, we want to do MK all day.....we will leave during peak heat to go back to hotel. Would like to see Wishes, but not sure if kids can stay up that late :(

Sun, we def want to do AK for the morning hours and probably get lunch at AK. Head back to hotel for a rest, and then head over to Epcot for dinner and hopefully see illuminations.

Mon, Non Disney day....we may either do DTD for 1/2 the day, and we have heard good things about Gatorland (any opinions on Gatorland )....The other thought is if we do not do Gatorland, we may just pay and do Qwest or Typhoon Lagoon depending on what the kids feel like

Tues, heading to MGM for the morning....would like to hit the Orlando Outlets as well later in the day or DTD again...

We do not want to set anything in stone, as we do like a little bit of leeway in our plans.....
I don't want to do the Hopper Plus because we won't use both "plus" options....so its financially better to just pay the price for Qwest of Typhoon if we decide to go...Its $110 to get in for the four of us versus if we tack on the "plus" its $190 more.

Someone had suggested to me in a different post that I make my "non disney" day not the last day there......so that is why I have rearranged my plans...

My biggest thing is I REALLY want to do Qwest and Typhoon Lagoon, but time just does not permit....there is no down time at all if we do that, and I cannot stand feeling like we are just crammed full of scheduling....

Hubby wants to do both, but also thinks too much hectic w/ the two kids and we may be asking for trouble with a bad case of the crankies.

Any thoughts on this???

I don't know much about Gatorland, but if you choose not to go...
Well DQ is fun for kids...not as much for adults. It's basically 5 floors of video games, and the build-your-own-rollercoaster that doesn't feel like a rollercoaster when you ride it. I would reccommend Blizzard Beach over Typhoon Lagoon, because there is more to do. But if your mind is set on Typhoon, I'd choose that if I had to choose one. It's something the whole family can enjoy...plus you can go do something else after the water park closes.

Also the park you should worry the most about the heat isn't so much MK as AK. There's less places to hide for shade, and with all of the outdoor rides, shows, and treks, it will probably get exhausting. These are just my loose-fitting suggestions though.

:cheer2: We are going in June 2006. One thing I am doing is going to the water parks in the moring til around lunch. Then grab a quick bite, and a nap til around 4:00 p.m. then head to Epoct in the evening for rides, and illumintions I hope I spelled that right. I will do that both days we go to the water parks split them with another park like MGM & Epoct. You and your husband sound like me and mine. We want to get everything in, but we also have five little ones to consider. :rotfl:
