Rice Krispy Squares....my mom's recipe.

6 cups of rice krispies in a big bowl (I use a medium size stock pot)

1 cup white syrup
1 cup sugar
In small saucepan. Cook on low/med until it starts to boil slowly and then for 30 seconds stiring. Add a couple of big tablespoons of peanut butter(smooth or crunchy) and stir.

Pour over the cereal...stir....optional right before you turn it out into the pan add a handful or two of chocolate chips. The chocolate chips will get melty and kind of marble when you spread it in the pan.

I use a big square cake pan and line the bottom with two pieces of aluminum foil folded to fit the bottom of the pan and laid at 90 degree angles (like a cross) with the tails of the foil folded down the outside of the pan. Spray the foil with a bit of buttery spray. After you dump the mixture into the pan use a piece of plastic wrap over it to press it down into the pan evenly. When it cools you can use the foil to lift the whole thing out of the pan, put it on a cutting board and cut up the whole thing easily. (Much easier than cutting in the pan)It gives it nice square straight sides, like the ones at WDW.

(You can do the foil sling thing to lift cooled brownies out of the pan too. Way easier to cut them neatly out of the pan)

Banana Nut bread or poppy seed bread is inexpensive and east to make. We bake ours in miniature loaf pans and the smaller sizes ell well, we rarely bring any back home. They hold up to the heat when other stuff falls apart or melts from humidity.

This is my new favorite recipe. They are quick, easy, and yummy! So far I have used a white cake mix with Butterfinger pieces and a chocolate cake mix with Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.

Candy Bar Bars

1 cake mix
2 eggs
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 stick melted butter
1 cup chopped candy bar (any kind)

mix cake mix, eggs, butter, and brown sugar. Fold in candy bar pieces. Spread in a 9x13 ungreased pan and bake at 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes (until edges are golden brown and center is done).

I make a brownie mix according to the directions. Put cupcake liners in a muffin pan and fill with the brownie mix about 1/2 full. Cook according to directions. A couple of minutes before they are done stick an unwrapped mini reeses peanut butter cup in the middle of each brownie and press down til it is the same height as the rest of the brownie.

People love these!!!:thumbsup2

I second this one, except I use the mini muffin pans and liners. I brought these to a Christmas cookie swap and they were the first to go. The generic/store brand brownie mix works best, following the recipe for cake-type brownies.

I make a cheater's fudge that people seem to go ga ga over and it's SOOOO easy. I've done this alot when it's last minute and I have to make something. Also good when it's warm out, you don't have to use the oven.

What you'll need:
1 can chocolate frosting (not whipped kind, regular kind)
1 smaller bag (I think 8 oz?) of chocolate chips
1/4 tsp. of vanilla
1 candy bar (snickers was the one I was told about first, but have used all sorts of them, toffee ones are another hit, as is butterfingers)

Chop up candy bar into small bits.
In microwave, melt chocolate chips until they are just melted.
Fold in the chocolate frosting and vanilla and 3/4 of the candy bar.
Spread into a square (8x8) pan (I like to spray mine first with No stick spray like Pam, but you don't have to) and then sprinkle the rest of the candy bar on top.
Let set.

That's it! I cut them into small squares and put them in baggies or on little plates. Sell them in sets of 6.

this is my families fav...quick, easy and inexpensive!

all you need is 1 roll of refriderated chocolate chip cookie dough & 1 block of cream cheese...

cut the roll of cookie dough in 1/2.
smoosh one half of the cookie dough in the bottom of a greased 8X8 cake pan.
beat 1 package of cream cheese with 1 egg and 1/2 c sugar until fluffy.
pour cream cheese mixture over cookie dough.
take the second have of the dough and crumble it into pieces over the cream cheese mixture.
Bake 375 for about 35-40 minutes.

let cool before cutting YUMMY :thumbsup2
