Need help with Hotels

Hi, everyone!

I was wondering if you could give me some advise. Are plans have changed slightly from the original, now instead of driving to Florida we are flying into Orlando.

My dad lives about 1 1/2 hours away and will be staying there the whole time with the exception of the day we land.

He is picking us up at the airport then we are staying in Orlando for the night since the original plan was to go to Disney World the next day. We are going to be there on Dec. 22.

Need some advise on nice, clean hotels/motels in the area that are inexpensive. I really dont want to pay much since we are only going to be sleeping there one night. Any suggestions.

try priceline - you can pick near the airport as one of your selections

there are several I know the Hyatt (that is inside the airport) - but it can be on the expensive side. there is also a Reniassance hotel close by.

if you father is going to drive you over to your hotel - I would get something in Kissimmee (this is the area that is just out side of WDW) - they always have some fairly cheap options.

there are several motel 6, day inn, best western in this area.

How does Priceline work. It asked me questions, but never told me what hotels or the price for that hotel. Do you get a choice?

No - you don't get a choice - you just put in a bid - then you get pick the stars - then you get to pick where in Orlando you want to stay close too.

there is a website that explains out the in and outs of priceline - I will try to find it and post it here I do.
