Our most recent visits to DL Resort, we have flown in and taken the shuttle to one of the Disney Resort Hotels. Never ventured off property, so really have no bearing as to how far the other hotels are away, though I know they are close.

For our February trip, to save money we are driving and currently have reservations $59/night at Anabella Inn and
$99/night at Paradise Pier. I really like what we have heard about Anabella Inn and the $59/night makes it a great deal. I understand that Anabella Inn is at the back end of DCA and we will have to walk
a bit (no problem), take the shuttle or walk to Disney parking and take a parking tram.

1. How much more of a walk is it than Paradise Pier to Downtown Disney?

2. Does Paradise Pier still charge for parking?

3. Does Anabella Inn charge for parking?

Thanks,
Lucky

We are aso going to DL, in March. We usually stay off site, to save money, as I have never felt that the onsite properties were "worth" what they charged. We usually stay at the Desert Inn and Suites or Anaheim Best Inn, right there close to the pedestrian walkway. However, we were able to get the PP for $113 per night, so it seemed a splurge was in order. I also tried for the Anabella, but it was booked one of the 3 nights we will be there.

1. How much more of a walk is it than Paradise Pier to Downtown Disney? Well, I can't answer that one, sorry.

2. Does Paradise Pier still charge for parking? I was told that there is a $7 "resort fee"-it covers parking, and other misc. charges.

3. Does Anabella Inn charge for parking? That I don't know either, but I assume the answer is no.

Have a great trip.

A freind just returned from the Anabella and in December I walked over and checked it out. It is probably a block farther than the PP hotel to downtown Disney. They do have a shuttle though. The Anabella is new and pretty with lots of palm trees and bannana plants all around. It has exterior corridors two pools and a restaurant. I have only seen the rooms in pics online. My friend e-mailed me and said the Anabella was great. It was not very full so they gave him a suite with a living room.
